During the development process of the εοs-toolkit I tried out writing the documentation with APT-format. APT stands for Almost Plain Text. Writing documents is like writing in the early days of word-processors. The syntax is simple end easy to learn. If you are familiar with a wiki markup (MediaWiki, Confluence) it is quite easier. Okay, it is just another markup but thats okay.
Anyway, I'll switch to DocBook for the documentation. The reason: DocBook has a much better toolchain. There are nice word-processor like editors (XMLmind), mature transformation tools and so on. The toolchain is also the main reason I decide against DITA at this time.
